About Us
Waikōloa Elementary School opened in the Autumn of 1994 with an idea of cultural diversity and harmony. It is located at 1000 ft. above the resort coast of Western Hawaii County, in the community of Waikōloa Village. The village has a shopping center, restaurants, a golf course, stables and a budding community spirit. The village affairs are managed by the Waikōloa Village Association, the second largest property owner-managed entity in the state. The village has approximately 7000 residents and our school is fortunate to be able to act as a community center for many programs. We expanded in 2007 to include a middle school on our campus. The mascot for our school is The Navigators. Our colors are maroon, turquoise and white.
